RR_S12E03 - Rogues’ Gallery - Stagecrafters Theatre
Today on the podcast, Mariangela Saavedra stops by to talk about the hybrid performance of “Rogues’ Gallery” by John Patrick Shanley, presented as part of Fringe Arts by The Stagecrafters Theatre. Here is my interview with Mairangela Saavedra.
Everyone has a story to tell......
This piece offers ten confession-like monologues delivered by a group of individuals who talk to us about love, disappointment, and transgression. They yearn to make sense of the circumstances that life is tossing their way. Journey with us through these darkly comedic, unusual and alluring tales about the absurdity of being human.
John Patrick Shanley , Pulitzer Prize and Tony winning playwright, wrote this play in response to the lockdown of the performing arts world during the pandemic and he is donating the proceeds of all performance royalties to The Actor's Fund.
*Presented as part of the 2021 Philadelphia Fringe Festival. Performances will be filmed and streamed virtually online, September 24- 26, and performed Live September 30- October 2, 2021
Tickets ON SALE at www.thestagecrafters.org and through the Fringe Arts Festival Box Office
