Nina is on her multicultural, mixed-up and unfinished journey to matrimony. Hindus pray 'om shanti om' for universal tranquillity, but until Nina has her wedding, or Shaadi, there is no peace. Nina's story about immigrant families and relationships travels from India to Kenya to NYC and is told through the sacred steps of the Hindu wedding ceremony.
